You always have neat videos... I watched all of yours thru the time.

When I see your EE's It kind of reminds me of the 3 that I had. Last one lived 11 years. Probably could have gone longer if not due to predator.

11 years!! That's amazing! You must be doing something right!

Different varieties all living in harmony. As of October 2014 none in this group are with me anymore. No I did not eat them. The silver seabrite ( black and white) lived 13 years. The golden seabrite lived 9 years.

I only keep a small flock and pets only. Yes,,,,,, I do spoil them with treats
They may not be the best producers of eggs, but the Joy they bring outweighs everything else about chicken keeping for me.
This is my current crowd. 5 hens.

I just set 10 of my NN eggs a few minutes ago, and will add whatever the girls lay tomorrow to it. Here we go again!

Yep I put 5 in and will add tomorrow if Emma lays one. Neither of the others made it. I’m going to try a dry hatch this time. Wish me luck!
