Arizona Chickens

they are beautiful, love it on a full moon, you can almost drive without your lights on. I've got a friend who lives off 93 I like it out there.
My ultimate favorite thing to do on a full moon is to go lay with my horses in the hay and use a horse belly as a pillow to lay on and look at the stars. There's something so surreal about it

I had to do THREE RECOUNTS on the Hollands Tuesday when I latched the door for the nite! I kept coming up with extra heads - I stopped when I matched the known quantity.

Sometimes it's like that when they won't stand still. I have to count out my 3 NN grow-out chick's first, then the 2 White Rocks, the 8 Silver Grey Dorking's, and then the other 6 NN's. That's 19, isn't it? :lau As I'm doing that, I'm also checking to see if they are ok.

I'm having problems with that now that I'm using the brinsea brooder heater. I have one midnight majesty that's smaller than the others and way behind in feathering (even compared to the two obvious cockerels), and when it hides under that brooder I get nervous. Then other times, I'd have to take a picture and count heads in the picture because they move so fast!

I never thought of taking a picture to count the head's before.

Greetings in progress! - I try to focus on any that have the least greetings so no one feels left out.

That's what I normally do also. Doing those will also help to get your point's up, and eventually you will be able to get to the next stage out of your current Songster under your avatar. If you start doing a ton of those, someone might nominate you for the Greeter badge like the one that they gave to me.
