Chick Tock and Tala, I wish those afternoon rains would come to my part of Saline Co. my garden needs it.

Julie: Oh! that baby silkie is adorable!!!! I have got to borrow a rooster from my son in law so I can have some baby silkies. This is the first time in 3 years I haven't got the incubator out and I'm having withdrawls. We are going to Florida in 2 weeks and Stephanie is going to take care of my animals and I didn't want her to have to mess with them.

Went to move the sprinkler in my garden and the chickens were going crazy and I flashed the flashlight up in the trees and there were the eyes. I sent my daughter in to wake hubby up but she could get him a wake enough. I went down and saw the racoon and came back and ask hubby where the 22 bullets were and he jumped up. By the time he got down there it was gone.

Yeah, I don't know why I ask questions anyway, noone ever answers. When Ethan saw the new chicks, he said, "BBQ or Rotisserie?" You're rubbing off on him!

Brenae Hall and US Senator Blanch Lincoln (Arkansas). Brenae is the president of the Drew County 4-H Poultry Club, Monticello, Arkansas. Senator Lincoln is the Chairperson of the Agricultural Committee of the United States Senate. Senator Lincoln was in Monticello this morning on a campaign stop.

I introduced Brenae to Senator Lincoln. Brenae told her that a new law made it illegal for her to hatch duck eggs as a 4-H project. Senator Lincoln asked what law? I explained about the new F&W regulation on Muscovy Ducks. I had already handed a note to her aid with the regulation info and my contact info. Senator Lincoln asked why the F&W were making laws about domesticated livestock. My answer was because they failed to ask her or anyone in agriculture about the new regulation. She turned to an aid and told them to get my info and find out more about this new regulation.
