That's good! He'll rest, but since you chipped off the shell, he won't have any way to break out on his own now, so you will have to peel back that membrane so he can squirt out on his own when he is ready.

edit -- if you see any struggling, you may have to widen the opening just a bit, but looks like he can make it out now when he's ready.

I was thinking the same but not sure where as everything looks stuck to him now whereas before we could see air to peel back and might there be more little blood vessels ?

You might want to wipe him down once he's out, real gentle and quick... looks like a lot of goo in there... excess goo is from high humidity during incubation, and most likely why the wrong end pipper didn't make it... so sorry about that...

I use a q-tip, and just get a bit of it under the membrane. Kinda like scooping a melon lol. Just stay away from the bill.

Oh Ravyn mentioned the wrong ender. Did you check it?
