* Suppose you wanted to help feed some people-- many of the Jews survived because some people helped them, hid them, FED THEM though it was illegal to do so. A major city 3O-4O miles from me just made it illegal to feed THE HOMELESS in a prominent plaza downtown-- bad for tourism. Several groups are currently violating the law to continue feeding them. THIS PROGRAM IS under the auspices of Homeland Security-- and similiar goverment offices the world over. If they pass, if you do not comply-- not only could you be considered an outlaw-- you could be called a traitor to your country (whichever one that is)!!!!!

Pretty soon we won't be able to sell our calves through the sale barn unless they're tagged with their electronic tag. They've got us over a barrel.

In WI we have a premsis registration that is required! It went into effect on January 1, 2006. So far we haven't had any trouble. We had to register as we have to have a license to sell milk and they go hand in hand. In theory it is good but, they could put alerts out over the public airways to get the word out. I don't like the idea of individual animals having to be tagged with a special tag. When you sell one through the livestock barns they have been tagged with a number already and they have the info that matches up to that number. Why do we need to spend extra money for these tags?

Now you've done it! You've opened a can of worms and here I go!

I think that pretty much all of the things that everyone has said on this post so are are right on. Those who do not learn from history are bound to repeat it and I think that things are going to get a LOT worse before they any better. This is just one more right (among many) that is being slowly taken away "for the better of the people" and "for our own safety". Worse, a majority of the public believe its true.

My job takes me all over the world and the same types of things are happening everywhere. We have a wheat shortage in America, there is a rice shortage in all of Asia, food supplies are diminishing and from what I've seen its all BS. I come from an agricultural background, my family still owns and operates a farm and ranch in Canada. There is and would be plenty of food everywhere for everybody if people were left alone to grow and sell what they want. Instead we have subsidy to grow some crops and another subsidy to not grow other crops and heaven forbid if we had backyard flocks or gardens. Think of all of the lost taxes if people were actually growing their own food! Oh, I forgot. It's for my own good that our wheat is shipped to China, refined and shipped back with chemicals in it to make the protein content look hirer. Yum, love that Melamine & aminopterin, tastes like Round-Up and rat poison!

I don't want to sound like a dooms-dayer, but I am doing everything I can for the health and safety of my own family and children. Food storage, garden, chickens, etc.

Hold on to your seats, I thinks it's going to be a bumpy ride!

refuse to comply once it's passed.

Honestly, I think everyone needs to start knocking on the 'important' people's doors and giving them a piece of our minds. Also, not to be all religious or impose my ideas on anyone else, this has a familiar ring to it.....something about not being able to buy, sell, trade, etc without a number????? Hmmmm.....just food for thought. I think that in the event that the government ever wants to take complete control of the country this NAIS thing is to let them know who has the cabability to self-sustain, that way they don't have to go searching when they seize everyone's food making capabilities and make us all 'slaves' to the government. I know this sounds pretty conspiracy theory, but with all the crap they've been coming up with I'm not surprised at anything anymore.

What you see happening is exactly what the scriptures say is going to happen.
No conspiracy theories to it.
Not only are they fast tracking this but they are also fast tracking the one world government.
It's going to happen, it's just the way it is.
You control the food, you control the people.

I haven't made up my mind on the subject but I've seen a lot of pretty bizzare statements coming out of the Anti-NAIS crowd over the past year or so that this has been an issue.

Lots of Hitler analogies and end-time claims. Claims that it is a dry run with the final goal of implanting every human with micro-chips.

All I ask is to see facts, such as substantiation that every one of my chickens will be required to be micro-chipped. I get lots of nonsense, but no one will point me to documentation. (Claims by anti-NAIS groups and opinions of individuals do not constitute documentation.

Facts, please.
