second external pip and updated pic as first I had to pull is spoiled don't wanna be in brooder or put down currently so she's been outside helping and terrorizing the laying hens with her cheeping

We got a second peeping in there, the lone pure Rhode Island Whites egg that was fertilized, no more progress on second external pip yet

I’ve been out of town while DD holds the fort with the lone guinea egg in the Hatcher. It’s been hard to maintain the humidity in the Brinsea mini eco II, but think we finally have it figured out... Just in time! Came home to an external pip!!!

Should I worry as the RIW egg is actually pretty small? anything I should watch out for besides the normal?

Sorry to say no. I am sure my digital thermometer messed up somehow. I am getting some more though bought a different thermometer. I am sad the two were fully developed but small and another one was extremely small. The thermometer is the only thing I can think of that happened. The people I got them from has a thing where if you don’t have many or any hatch pay $5 and shipping and they will send more.

Guess I will be joining September’s hatch along

Yea, they said they are waiting until next week do to high temps there. But yep trying one more time. If it doesn’t work this time I will wait til spring.
