Augusta Maine Poultry/ Farm swap April 28th TSC

What a disgusting morning, so far! I had to break the ice on the duck pools this morning.

I was going to come and bring some olive eggers but I sold them yesterday and they'll be picked up tomorrow. All I had left was tomato seedlings, which probably won't like 50 degrees as a high and windy as heck.

I'll be stopping by but not staying to sell anything. Too bad.

I had a pretty good day dispite the wind. quite a few people sold out, I think some gave up due to the wind. and I did see super chemical girl there. she did brave the winds for a bit.

Yeah I did, I forgot I had two olive egger girls that I had doubts about their gender last swap... had put them in with the boys. Saw them this morning and thought I'd bring them. No go though. They'll be at the next swap. I did sell quite a few seedlings, which is great, now I have some room for the next batch!

waterville is in 2 weeks.

I did my final sort for the swap.
I will have black orpington pullets and cockerals, blue laced red wyandottes p&c, 2 cuckoo wyandottes- all are 8-12 weeks old. plus hatching eggs from the silkies and sizzle with a paint roo covering. should have 12 birds total. if anyone wants anything reserved, contact me by pm, I'll check tonight and will hold only until 9:30am.

Were any of these suitable for my daughter to show? I was really hoping for a bantam but... ?

Anybody else know what they're bringing? My husband will kill me if I bring home anymore chickens right now . Iv'e got 3 different sets going now. Six 8 wk olds, Two 16 wk olds , and 9 hens at lay. Once they're all living together in the same pen, it will be easier to add one here or there without being obvious. lol In the meantime I'm still looking for other livestock. Baby goats, piglets, pony? Alpaca? lol .........Whatch got?

I'm trying to research goats/sheep right now. Is there a site like this for those? FYI there was a woman selling bottle babies at the Brunswick swap. Pygmies and Lamancha.
