AUGUSTA, MAINE poultry swap/chicken stock saturday March 31st TSC

I totally understand Joanie. I had the same problem last yr. I had 3 show quality wyandotte bantams point of lay, I got $5 each for them. that's giving away prime birds.

I had a Good day today! Sold 2 laying hens and 2 pairs of Silkies, made $70.00 and came home with 2 Broad Brested Turkey Hens!

Depending on the weather I'll be at the Augusta swap, Bringing Buff Orp. and I think I have one Americauna left and a few Buff orp X Americauna. All are Laying! OR if someone would like to buy a ready made Flock of laying hens and a roo, I believe there are 16 Laying hens and a Buff Orp Roo All for $300.00, ages range from 8 months to 1 yr. Or I'll just bring 5 to 6 laying hens I can only bring so many! I'll also bring a Few Silkies, as they are selling out fast! I have mostly Silkie Cockerels and roos left. I have 2 Buff cockerel silkies, 1 splash silkie, 1 Black Silkie (has splash in hackles) These will be sold as pets. I have 3 SQ White Cockerels for sale also. Send me a PM let me know what your looking for!

OH If someone is looking for Bantam Cochins let me know!

Hopefully the weather will be nice !

I sold 1 chicken today in wilton, nothing else! I will be bringing some small dwarf himalayans, some other small bunnies, I will also be bringing some poultry waterers, and heater tray for water, some 10 gallon tanks with critter covers! I am very excited for this swap and hopefully I will do better then I did toay!

I'm so glad someone told me this swap was NOT next weekend or I would have been the only one there. I am so ready to start getting these going. more babies hatching today/night. can't wait to see what I have.

just had 20 something wyandottes hatch out this morning, looked like the incubator exploded with fuzzies! i moved some silkie outside to enjoy the sunshine for the day, I hate collecting them up at night and moving them back to the building but I'd hate more if they got chilled or killed.

please see the maine thread if you want to save money on chicken feed by pooling an order with me and picking up here at my place in albion.
(this is only really a good deal if you live 30miles of albion, otherwise, the gas would probably too much)

I am very glad that all these swaps are starting to come up. I just brought a few of my rabbits to auction to make room for new babies due in less than a month and possibly some more chickens! I am very excited to go to the swaps! I have been to 2 in Wilton so far and I will be going to all the swaps in Wilton, Augusta, and if they do some in Waterville possibly and possibly Skowhegan!

If anyone has roosters that they just want to get rid of, please let me know! I will take any and all roosters and could meet and pick up at swaps or other plans, Please PM me or email at [email protected]. P.S They will most likely not be eaten but used for other purposes like fish ties or hair extensions! Thanks!

are these going to be kept by you or will they be moving on to someone else? i have a rooster, but I want to know where he goes.
