AUGUSTA, MAINE poultry swap/chicken stock saturday March 31st TSC

we're going to miss you. maybe you can make the next one. last saturday of the month.

I will not be attending the swap (have to work until 3) but if you are interested in some colored (some regular EE some olive egger) layers or some brown layers, I've got a bunch of almost 6 week old females ready to be sold. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks. I swapped my weekend in April (thanks to you posting early when it will be) so I can attend the swap!

I got a call yesterday. the albion ACO will be coming to this swap looking for a male guinea fowl if anyone has any extras they want to part with.

now that we are getting a bit closer to the day (this saturday). I need to update my list.
my kids will bring cookies to sell they said.
I will be bringing 1 black orp pullet, 2 lav pullets, 2 lav cockerals and 1 blue orp. all the wyandottes left today from the older group. maybe will have a blue silkie but maybe not.
sold my blue laced roo today for what I was asking and a 2nd black orp roo, that always makes me happy when I know they are not going to get eaten.

I am so very veery excited for saturday!! I will be coming with very limited chicken funds, but I think that is part of the plan...Hubs is truly afraid I will come home with goats, pigs, turkeys etc! I am really very interested in finding some cochins, especially the darker colors, and some Jersey Giants, and possibly some australorps. Like everyone else, I would love started pullets, but would really be willing to purchase fertilized eggs (I'm a new hatcher, and clearly addicted already!) Sometime later this spring I am really hoping to add aa couple cayugas to our flock.

I couldlhook you up with some wyandotte eggs. just changed roosters so they would be blr hens covered by either a blue laced (carrying blr gene) roo or my new black roo. both roosters are big but gentle. blue laced has been out for 2 weeks.

I would LOVE to have some of your eggs Hoppy! I am a sucker for big birds, and yours are large and nice looking birds.

Though, I will admit, my little RePete the Accidental Bantam has definitely won me over with her antics lately. Shes a keeper.

I'll plan on bringing some then.
