Lol , rexy, I'm just fuming. Went into her profile and she even went on the polish site and asked them if they were polish. To add insult to injury reading through the posts sounds like she may have marecks in her existing flock. Sad. Won't be sending anymore eggs .

Ah fancy.Sorry you got a bad one . They are out there though, I had a lady buy marans eggs then complained non hatched and she wanted me to replace them all as her in laws picked them up. I thought this was odd not one hatched, Then I see a few days later her asking if her marans she hatched would be ok as they hatched two days early... They are out there unfortunately.

Well I learnt a valuable lesson tonight. I sent some eggs to wagga , 10 of 12 hatched and now the buyer is on the Silkie thread asking if they are actually Silkie. I have my own line of silkies and have been breeding them for 8 years, what a slap in the face.

I think they don't realize you are a member of more than 1 site just as they are lol. I had actually offered her 6 replacement eggs before I saw the post. I left them in the mail box for her with a little note saying hope these eggs hatch as well as your early ones did on x site... Bit mean I guess but hey...

Wow - people never cease to amaze me just to what lengths they will go to, to get something for nothing.

The second dozen eggs I bought to hatch, got 7 out of 12 and they weren't posted eggs. I thought that was pretty good! I would never dream of going back and complaining about it, but then again, I was raised right by my parents and I actually have a conscience.
