while searching long and hard for a pic for @satay i found my two very first chickens I owned as an adult !

They were buggers that would not get out of the rain !



And I Found him ! this is CHIP yes the then 3yo named him and every day I had a "chip on my shoalder" he thought he was hilarious



They were best Buds ! Untill he took off last year to be with a female he bonded too threw the window ! He comes back every few weeks to say HI !

Im glad as the young bloke (now 9) misses him and he still gets to see he is ok in the wild.... actually he is in the banksia tree as we speak LOL laughing at the dog ....

they tormented each other constantly.....

And I got my first egg since December ! YAY my black aussie laid today (As i told Satay) it saved her from the soup pot !

shouldnt laugh ... .... we had a 'pet' possum that kept dumping babies at the door step when i was a kid. they re located her eventually..... and Maggie May Magpie LOL i know dreadful name that use to nest on my back verandah

and a wombat under the Stairs LOL

but he was another story....
