You may need to replace the short length of tubing inside the pump... Try holding  the button down first to see if it will pump maunually.

I have tried to do it manually and nothing happens, it doesn't make any noise whatsoever. I will try replacing the hose inside the pump then, though this is only the second time it has been used. Thanks Ash

Then once your hatch is finished I would contact whoever it was you bought if from as a pump should not fail in such a short amount of time.

Yes, I will do that, but want to check a couple of things first. Like, where the electrical lead for the pump goes into the incubator, to make sure that hasn't come out. And just to switch it on and off to reset it. Not sure what else i can check, but will fiddle with it. This hatch isn't having a good run, so not sure whether I will get anything. Day 20 today, and I usually have lots out by now. The power became disconnected a few days ago, not sure for how long, so they may be slowed or stopped. Que sera sera.

Great enclosure Venetta - did you have to build it yourself? We have just been through that pain & it's harder than it looks for something that is essentially a frame with wire mesh attached!
I don't know anything about horses, but those are beautiful pics Fancy. She sure look like a big & beautiful horse.
My pullets are approaching 18 weeks & as they are not finished their feed I gave them separate shell grit. They scarfed it down which I wasn't expecting because there is plenty of grit in their run. I'll move to layer feed soon, but I was wondering about the pullets that take ages to lay. I presume the added calcium is ok for them?

Thank you :)
When we bought it, it was in pieces and we just had to put it back together essentially :) Got it all up in one day!
We did have finches and parrots in their first, but we've condensed numbers into two aviaries now instead of three so we could have more space for more chickens! :D
