Would you be interested in travelling to Lithgow?? I have some eggs don’t know if they are pure bred but they still hatch out beautiful babies… might even get an OE or 2 outta them..

I don’t trust the postal service round here… had a lamp delivered once that clearly said “fragile” in big red letters and watched them throw it round the van while they got the bigger parcels out..

Hey @Poultry mum, I'm gonna break Brains out of broodiness. Brains was doing well for about 2 weeks before she went broody! The others haven't been laying much at all for the past 1.5 months (Hawk's score: 0) when the 15-week old babies were introduced into the run!

It's costing me $1.10 per egg to feed them at the moment!

Hey @Poultry mum, do u still reckon Fuzzy's male? I know you'll be better at gauging it cos you're the breeder.... Fuzzy's not exhibiting much male dominance.. and his posture is very feminine even though his comb is bright red...

I posted new pics of Fuzzy at 9 weeks of age (https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/5-week-old-australian-araucana-hen-roo.1505032/page-2) and only 1 said it's probably a cockerel. Nobody else replied... so I'm guessing they're just as confused as I am...
