They are a little darker than my lights, so I was wondering if they were or not. They look like lights

They could be corrinations.. but they look too dark for that and not enough “blue/lavender” fluff … maybe they are the elusive buffs?? LolThey are a little darker than my lights, so I was wondering if they were or not.

I love the buffs … haven’t been able to find any myself yet unfortunatelyThey are indeed Buffs, though one is extra dark. I bought the eggs, not my breeding unfortunately.
The little black one is a stray polish, none of his siblings hatched.
I want them! just kidding, but I would love to have some. And that polish is so cute! They are indeed Buffs, though one is extra dark. I bought the eggs, not my breeding unfortunately.

There's a lady on gumtree selling fertile eggs, I had been thinking of getting some, but haven't got the space in them moment.I love the buffs … haven’t been able to find any myself yet unfortunately
I'm sorry that you lost them. They are hard to get. I lost almost all of my hens to a fox recently, I bred those hens from a buff rooster and my light hens. Fun fact: Your chicks will be sex linked if you do that cross, learnt that by accident!
If you want a nice dark buff definitely back to a buff rooster. This is a quite old picture of Venus, one of my first cross hens. She got a little darker with time.I'm sorry that you lost them.
What do the first cross hens look like? Did they look like buff straight away, or do you have to cross them back to the buff rooster?

Next pic is one of the hens I lost, two generations down from the light. I was having a bit of trouble with the colour being patchy, but only got two generations in.

I only have one of my Buffs hens now, I can try and get a picture of her tomorrow, she's same group as the one pictured above.
