My girls are going well, Youngchook

I have 2 broody girls at the moment which is a pain. Both are Sussex, who are intent on sitting and will puff up and cluck at me when I come to collect eggs. They put on a show, but are yet to peck me.

We can't hear you. Lol. I have 4 broodys so I take their eggs off them and have put blue laced red Wyandotte eggs under them. The silkies don't care, I think they'd be content with an emu egg under them.

DUCK OWNERS OF AUSTRALIA:

What pellet do you feed your ducks on?

I give mine just the regular chicken layer pellets, but they also get a lot of grass and green veggies as well as seed and Lucine chaff (and shell grit). I think it's working for them as I get a good amount of eggs.

I give my duck's mixed grain and they free range.
