Looks good. So what is your plan for these runs?
Well, it is Friday night.
Howdy folks .. once again I can't help myself, I had to share bedtime pictures. 7 weeks old tomorrow; surely she will be teaching them to roost soon? lol
So, you are going to get some leghorns after you sell the others? Otherwise you have a nice 'bator going to waste. It might want to come and live in Qld and raise Marans.
But I am glad you are staying in them Luke. Fair enough to narrow your breeding and have an aim.
PS. we have been missing you.
She is a patient mama. This is my broody with her chick a few weeks younger than that.
That's so funny lol. I think she is just enjoying having a fluffy pillow to sit on
Aaaw rexy, that is a gorgeous picture. How high up is the branch?
Tee hee appps, I think you might be right, I doubt very much of her is touching the straw!
Way above my head, maybe 10 foot. She went back to the nest for the first week or so, then started trying to roost in the tree at night, and the poor little chap would be cheeping loudly. I had to take a broom out and knock her down, and shut her in with the nest box. It is a grevillea, so he soon learn to run up the trunk, so everyone was happy.
Oh I totally missed the baby under her Rexy! Wow don't they fall out?
