Howdy folks .. once again I can't help myself, I had to share bedtime pictures. 7 weeks old tomorrow; surely she will be teaching them to roost soon? lol
She is a patient mama. This is my broody with her chick a few weeks younger than that.

Aaaw rexy, that is a gorgeous picture.  How high up is the branch?


Way above my head, maybe 10 foot. She went back to the nest for the first week or so, then started trying to roost in the tree at night, and the poor little chap would be cheeping loudly. I had to take a broom out and knock her down, and shut her in with the nest box. It is a grevillea, so he soon learn to run up the trunk, so everyone was happy.
