Good luck with your little duck and chicks
I've got silkie hatching under a broody and a light sussex sitting under the hayshed. Plenty of chicks, and I haven't had much luck re homing these pesky ducks.
They are very cute, but they have made such a mess of my brooder.
So cute Fancy.
Fingers crossed that you still have a great hatch.
I went to a new produce store on Saturday last week with hubby.... Bad move... lol and I saw the cutest minature pot belly pig. I wanted to bring it home for a pet but hubby and son said they would eat it... Darn men.... Love their pork but still...
It's all fun and games here at inlet farm . I went over to feed everyone and there are 4 x new silkies, one dead in the shell, the light sussex hen under the hayshed appeared briefly to show me here 2 new babes and then quickly retreated back to her eggs. There is a momma possum and her baby asleep in one of the nest boxes, oh geez Louise . I'm having a cuppa and then I'm going back out with the camera, a picture says a thousand words.
Can't wait to see pics
Ducklings are so cute!! But messyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!
These pics are just gorgeous, Fancy. Looks like you are getting an early start on next years calendar.
I hope all is well, Sam.
I am not hatching at the moment Satay, but thinking about it to replenish stocks after the fox attack. Just worried about the heat and if it starts raining. Also have a few cockerels around being raised for the pot, Got a dozen Marans eggs here if you want to hatch some. Will stop me putting them in the 'bator.
