And here we are waiting for the ground to dry up enough to harrow the hay paddocks. Early start , just loading the horses .

 I wish I had those problems. I just checked my rain gauge and we have had 17.5mm which is pretty good since the rains coming off the coast. We are meant to be getting sheep again today...hmmm. Guess that might be cancelled again.. The old fella who has them wont get them in the rain...

Well that's one way to ' jump start ' your heart. Both thoroughbreds broke away and galloped down the driveway, buggers. She 's got a full day of training, meanwhile I'll be hopping on the ride on and getting the spray pack out, gotta make the most of this sunshine.

I meant that generally for anyone, but thanks for the answer. So far we've gotten up to about 40g from 30g two months ago when they started. The marans started at a bit over 40g three weeks ago, now she's at about 45g. I've been trying to ask around on BYC, but I haven't gotten any replies.

I don't weigh mine. I do have a GLW that regularly lays triple Yolkers , poor thing. The sussex eggs take a few months to progress from pullet size to regular size.
The silkie eggs even get bigger with time.
