This article helped me when I had a hen with impacted crop. Just be very careful not to aspirate when using the oil.

Btw , it is quite common for them to munch on rodents, the impaction may not be related. Eating a lot of grass will do it though.

We think we could feel little bones amongst the ball in her crop so fairly sure it's the mouse.

Will tryy and help her along. She's had some antibiotics this morning also

Lady from Melbourne too. Had her friend pick him up today. 5pm. He is taking him to Melbourne next weekend. Sounds like a good home and I did tell them he had killed two chooks and the circstances around it. They were still very excited and happy to have him.
