Aww my cattle dog Sam injured himself today ( I think climbing on wood piles ) hard to tell if he misses Zeus (I think not)

I hope it's a sprain right front ankle. Nothing feels broken / hot or swollen

Yup, they are pea combs. Statistically speaking, they should carry the blue egg gene, from what I understand. Oh well, exception to every rule.

He's a cattle dog, he's tough! That's what I used to tell my old red girl every time she hurt herself, which happened now and then cos she was a typical ACD.

If he is not in pain he should be OK, he has a good bed.!!!!!

He usually bounces but he hasn't put any weight on it all day. Vets tomorrow if he doesn't. Thanks tex I like these hessian beds they have good breathabliity in summer warm in winter.

Thanks They hatched from blue eggs so the genes are there but recessive. The breeder is to send more eggs so we can try again.

Yeah he is tough and not usually this sooky or injured this bad before.
