Anyone is a improvement on her methods.

Usually you get them when pullets are starting to lay, they're only learning to produce eggs. The fart egg, or wind egg, can also form around a small blood clot that is mistaken for a yolk. One every once in a while isn't a problem, or young birds learning to lay having them, but if a consistent layer suddenly only starts making them there might be something wrong. What is a fart egg exactly?
Is there anything wrong if a chicken produces one?

I use this one for 5 hatches then needed to use it as an emergency brooder heater by putting bricks under each end. I am now upgrading as I had issues with it last hatch. ( hatch 6) probably cause I shouldn't have used it as a brooder![]()
