Sadly, that's a fact. If you can not rehome them, don't waste them! They'd make a fine meal too, and that's better than culling with no purposeI'm getting that alot. Lol.

I know, I know ... not an easy decision AT ALL. When that decision came to my wife and I, we knew the only ones willing to take the roo would be doing so for their own table. Since his fate was sealed, we felt (only our opinion!) that we owed it to him to do it ourselves. We raised him, we loved and cared for him, and if was to be so ... we felt we had to do it ourselves.Oh snap! I don't think can do that. They're my 1st chicks! :/
My chickens have lovely, cute, expressive faces ... but ...Do Aussie 3 day old chicks sometimes have a look that you can just tell they will be ornery ? Chicks arrived today and all safe and active. This little girl already seems to have an attitude. LOL She has a white face and is so cute. Do they lose the white breast etc as they grow?
