Sorry, late to the party. You can get activated charcoal at a pharmacy. Some have it out on a shelf some you need to ask. It's a good item to have on hand either for animals or children. The carbon in the charcoal act as a receptor locking in harmful substances.

As long as it was a small amount he should be fine. We have had a chicken eat a small piece of slime and he was perfectly fine.
