I have had good luck reviving sickly/near-death chicks with molasses. I just mix some black strap molasses with water, usually colloidal silver for any health issues, but water would work too, and either drip it into their mouth if they are really bad, or offer it to them however they will drink it if they are alert. I don't have measurements, I just make a small batch and the water is pretty dark, like strong tea. There are a lot of minerals in molasses and I read online somewhere a few years ago about it and have had good luck the couple of times I've needed it.
