Is it's head stuck? poor thing. My dogs would have heart failure if a bear stuck his head through the dog door. Then again I might too. We've had bears right next to our back door getting into the trash but I hope I never seen that.

Davie is a sweetheart to me and to Sally and Lady but to the male ducks he isn't the nicest..i love him but he sure gets all alpha on the boys. He knows he does wrong too because I can yell Davie or something and he stops and quacks at me like "I wasn't doing anything" and runs when I try to catch him for 'time outs' he'll hang his head too and quietly quack at the ground when I scold him.

I want to work on getting another female duck like I said before, what should I try and work towards? So I can bombard my mom with pictures of them being cute haha. My mom likes the scovies but are the super big? And we don't know how to clip wings either so I'm not sure if that would work.

That Davie sounds like a trip.

Putting his head down and quacking at the ground. I wonder if you knew duck language is he saying oh boy mom caught me again. I'm just always in trouble.

I didn't know the scovies could fly either until Patti told us the younger ones could. Remember the roof incident?

My favorite duck is the pekin but they are large I don't know if your mom would want a huge duck but they don't fly at all. You'll just have to show her the different breeds and see which one she likes the most. Good luck and take her to the feed stores in the spring they always have the baby ducks.

He does have a cute face tho and he looks kind of pitiful just look at those eyes. I would probably have a heart attack seeing that even tho he is cute and pitiful looking.

We do have a doggie door in the solid door and my dh put one in the screen door too, Opie will use the one in the screen door but not the solid door. Maybe because he can't see what's on the other side.

He does have his swagger down pat now. lol

I love Opie he is so smart and that swagger oh my. Give him extra treats from me if he swaggers in the back door today.

I'll do my best but Julie, I think Patty needs to rent Robbie out so us old timers that don't know a thing about technical stuff can have help when needed.

Patti I'll rent Robbie out anytime he'll get you all fixed up on videos and pics. The only thing is he punches buttons and hits this and that but he forgets us older folks got lost after the first button.

Patti we need to see more pics of Opie we haven't seen any for a while. Would Opie get jealous if you took some of Ernie too? I know he is low on feathers but I would still love to see Ernie too. We all love to look at everyones ducks and birdies.

We called the planning and zoning yesterday to see if they knew when the house next door is being torn down. If it rains tomorrow they said it would be torn down. I'm going to shut the gate tonight and keep all the ducks on the other side just in case they do show up. I'll empty their pool and put it on the other side of the yard. I hope they keep the fence up that is my main concern.

I need to go feed the critters their lined up in the yard waiting on me. I hope everyone has a nice day.
