Wow we got to see him swaggering and wagging that tail. He is so handsome and the girls are beautiful. We will never get sick of watching Opie we enjoy watching them so much. I even had to show Hubbie the videos of Opie. Opie has a fanclub at my house.

Awe, Opie is such a cutie pie! I'll try and get a video of Dave maybe when he hangs his head when I scold him haha! Who were the two females with him in the videos, they were gorgeous!

Yes we need a video of Davie too. Would love to see him holding his head down after he is scolded.

Deb it took close to most of the day to upload those 3 videos. Why?? I have no idea. I tried Viemo last week that was a total disaster, you tube not much better. Ya'll that can do so much on computers... gosh I wish I could.

Next will be dh feeding my piggies in feathers just for Deb.

I agree with these guys. Wow, Patti. The swagger is serious and the tail wagging is cute. He sure takes his time getting around. Loved all the videos. Thank you for your hard work.

He used to be an only duck (haha) inside the house so he was very spoiled then we got Lady (his now mate) because we realized how lonely he really was (he thought I was his mate for a while, and while that was flattering and I love him very much I knew he needed a real duck friend/mate) and we let her hatch some babies (9) and we kept three, two males (Henry and Charlie) and one female (Sally) and now he's being all alpha duck and mean to Henry and Charlie, not letting them swim or eat treats, etc. So I have to scold him and put him in 'time outs' when I see him being super mean. I know some things are because he is the 'alpha' but I won't stand for him being mean for no reason, and he knows it. He'll run from me when I'm scolding him or put his head down and quack at me every now and then like saying "yea mom, I know, I won't do it again" but he'll turn around and do it again. So to the time out he goes

LOL Opie is the same way when I had the other 2 drakes oh my gosh it was an every day thing to keep them from Opie they would not give him a moments peace so I had to once again separate the boys. Well I was able to find great homes for those 2 separate homes with lady ducks so that left Opie and my Old drake Ernie and they have to be kept separated too but Opie is now the head drake in with the geese and what does he do he goes after them throwing his new found power around. The other day he was so nasty I took him out and that left just the geese and Opies girls well what do the geese do? they go after Dolly again so Opie went back in, at least when he's around the geese mind their manners. They have to or Opie will herd them up the hill. lol

I Hope all of you close to where there are fires are safe and sound. You never think about things like this but knowing what you need to do if a evacuation is put in place where will you go what will you do with your animals/ flock?
