baby duck with lots of problems

What should I write on a care sheet? Everything's blanking my mind now that I need to know repeat for others!
What to feed, protection for predators.[putting them up at night for protection] checking pond for snapping turtles before releasing the ducks onto it. What treats they like. Also let them know about water alot of people think you can put out chicken waterers for ducks but we know they need something deep enough to clean out their nares . Hopefully they will keep them penned up for at least a week so they get use to their new home before letting them out to forage if that is their plans.

That's good information, thanks. We don't have a pond but I didn't even think about snapping turtles! I've put food and treats they like, I've also put down this website for anything I forgot

I think one of these days when Julie gets her farm she will have lots of ducks and chickens, goats and horses and of course her little finch ducks.

Patty, how did you know? That is sooo true and believe me, when I retire, I am moving out of this busy metropolis to a quieter place where I can have all those warm and kind beings.

Hey Julie...I'm getting the impression that you love birds. Am I right?

Debs, I love you. Yes. You are so right. What is it about birds?

Found a home for Sally, Henry, and Charlie. A nurses son has five acres, coops, Chickens and wanted some ducks as pets. We said yes right away because they're already prepared and their gonna be pets and not food. I'm so happy they're going to a good home, they deserve it. They're coming in a few hours to get them. I'll miss them a lot but I know they'll be okay
So awesome. I am happy and relieved.

Most people who have large ponds have snappers or could so it's always best to know in advance because snappers not only eat young water fowl they can do serious damage to adults. Good for you giving them BYC for info. Hope all went well when they took them home.

Julie retirement is the best but having birds to share it with is awesome. Look forward to the day you have both.

Thats great that you found them a good home. I know how hard it is to let them go.
