Cute little Que Sera. Working the crowd and doing her happy dancers. Love her...

Ozzie the dog made it through the fireworks. He was about to bust so I took him out and he went and we hurried back in. This neighborhood sounds like a war zone on the 4th of July.

I wish Que Sera would teach the whole flock how to happy dance. That would be neat to see them all crouching down and turning little circles. Que Sera hasn't went out yet she is in there talking to Princess. I just wonder what she is saying.

I will let you know I hope it helps him too. I can't stand to see him limping around. A friend of Robbies her mother works for an animal clinic and they have an avian vet there and anyway I asked her if she could get her mom to ask the vet if there is anything we can do for Clyde. I have taken several of my chickens over there and they are really good. I'll let you know how that turns out.

I threw away the 4 eggs Ronda Runner had been sitting on. She had given up several days ago sitting. She only hatched the one little duckling. I got to hold it last night. It is so sweet. Hubbie was filling up the pool and wanted to put the baby in. I didn't think it was old enough and it was getting cool and all the fireworks we decided to wait a while before doing that.

Well I did the voice testing on Yoo Hoo and Hershey last night. I got to hold them and they were so sweet. Now here is the surprise. Is everyone ready for this? I was totally wrong about Yoo Hoo and Que Sera being girlfriend and boyfriend. Yoo Hoo is a Girl.

. Hershey is a Boy. Well that was a shock.

Hope everyone has a nice day I have to feed and water they will be nashing at the bit to get their food.

I am debating here on letting Que Sera stay out all night with the flock. I know I will have to check on her several times to make sure she is ok. She is laying over there beside them now and she won't come in. I was sitting outback earlier and she come over to say hi and that was about it. She'll be 7 weeks old in a couple of days. Well we will see if I give in and let her stay out or bring her in.

Patti I'm getting worried about you. You always post and I haven't heard from you all day. Let us know how you are doing, please.

I am debating here on letting Que Sera stay out all night with the flock. I know I will have to check on her several times to make sure she is ok. Hey Patty this is Patti checking in. lol I have been off most of the day but was going to come and tell you I found water melon for 2.98 seedless, My flock had a blast eating it down to a slim rind you can almost see through.

Aww Que Sera has finally taken to the flock, Patty you have done a great job getting her to this point, remember just a few weeks ago she was hiding behind your leg? It's hard to let go but you have too. She finding her place and she has done it because of you. I'd give it a go and see how she does, I'm betting she will be fine. You may not be but she will be.

Do you lock them up at night? anyone been picking on her?

Well that's a great price to for seedless. I think the ones I bought had seeds. I'm glad you checked in I was worried about you.

Que Sera and I spent many an hour outside getting to this point. I'm so proud of her tho. It's so hard to let her go but this is what I wanted for her. I wanted her to make this choice on her own. This side of the yard doesn't have the big duck house but they do have a big dog house that they can go in. They refuse to go in and the big duck house on the other side of the fence is not used either. We've tried herding them in but by the time you get two in three comes out. I must have stubborn ducks. I'll check on Que Sera tonight off and on tonight.

I have seen Sonny and sometimes Thelma chasing her but I've never seen any of them get close enough to bite her. I think just trying to show her the rules of the yard.

I hope she does good tonight I might bring her back in if there is a problem.
