baby duck with lots of problems

Thank you, her hair is a kind of blondish brown. I was hoping she would have red hair. Our daughter, Terri, had red hair she passed away when she was 23. She is Aubree's grandma and Robbie and Josh's mom. Robbie was 2 years old and Josh was 9 months old when she passed. Hubbie and I raised Robbie and Josh. They gave us a reason to live and kept us very busy. Terri was our only child. Robbie is now 23 and Josh is 21. Aubree reminds me a lot of Terri when she was that age. She is very special to us all.

My great grand baby Aubree.
Patty Aubree is adorable. I love that pic. Sound like Que Sera is fitting right in with the gang. and Uno is a drake I was thinking female.

Opie hasn't had much attention from us today, we just got my dad set up with Hospice so we have had a revolving door since yesterday morn. Hopefully we can catch our breath some tomorrow, but they are a great organization and I am thankful to have them.

Thanks Patti she is adoreable but we are prejudice. lol I'm not for sure if Uno is a boy or girl it's to soon to do the voice test. I'm calling him a boy that way it might be a girl. lol Hershey is the boy for sure.

Hospice is a great organization we had them when my mom was sick. I hope your day tomorrow will be less hectic.

Bee Bee the teenage pullet demanded to be let in this side of the fence with the ducks. I don't know if she is scouting out a place to lay her first egg or not. I've never saw her demand like that before.

How old is Bee Bee? my Muscovy duck likes to lay her eggs in the goose house[maybe she thinks their going to keep me from taking them] and my chickens lay in the ducks stalls if they see a duck egg in one. They are all goofy lil characters.

I hope Uno is a girl.. Will you keep Hershey?

Bee is 4 months old now. I thought the Isa Brown girls would have started laying by now but so far none of the teenagers have. We have 3 EE's which BB is, 2 Buff orphingtons and the 2 Isa Browns.

I hope Uno is a girl too. I have to many boys. I don't know if I will keep Hershey or not. I would love to keep them all but I can't.

Bee Bee is missing. I can't find her on this side of the yard and I went to the coop and she is not in there. She maybe hiding somewhere. I won't be able to sleep tonight worrying about her. When I find a nest then they lay in a different place. Last year Topper hatched 2 chicks and then she hatched her eggs in a couple of days. The chicken had laid her eggs with the ducks eggs. Go figure.

Ok now I can sleep tonight. Hubbie went out to check to see if he could find Bee Bee. She was up in the rafters in the corner. Thanks goodness. Bee Bee was our little runt we got her when she was 2 days old. She had pasty butt and there was several nights she slept in the fish bowl because the others were trampling her. I named her Bee Bee because she was tiny. She is an EE but she doesn't have the muffs. Her and Autumn either one have muffs but Muffin does. Muffin looks like a hawk she is our other EE. I might as well tell you the names of the other teenagers. The Isa Browns are Mrs. Brown and Nugget. The orphingtons are Twinkie and Fanny May, the two roos are Jacky Chick and Chick Norris they are the black sex links.

They sound adorable, I have 2 EE that don't have muffs they lay a blue egg, my other 5 EE's have muffs or should say had, they chew each others muffs off, have no idea why they get plenty of good food and lots of protein while foraging and through meal worms. just nutty I guess. I jut call mine the EE's. Most of my chickens have names but these girls are just the girls or EE's and my 2 BA's are just the BA's my 4 new babies haven't names yet, other than my Roo I think he will be Mr. Rogers after Fred Rogers remember him? my kids and I watched him everyday when they were little. I love the names of your chickens. and glad your dh found Bee Bee. When any of mine are missing I launch a search party too.
My chickens like to lay their eggs in with the ducks eggs and vise versa. and even with 5 nest boxes they will stand outside of the one being used and scream till the one box is available for use.

Those 2 Jacky Chick and Chick Norris do they fight at all? spar?

There are about 8 nesting boxes in the coop so the teenagers should find one of them they like. Skiddles my older buff orphington is the only one laying now. Phyllis, Dottie and Goldie have retired from the laying process. They can live out their days retired like me. We have two sides on the coop one for the old folks home and the other side for the teenagers. Hopefully one day they will all come togeather in harmony.

Jacky Chick and Chick Norris get along well. They are still afraid of Bubba the head roo so he pretty much keeps them in line. He has to guard Skiddles and Goldie because Jacky Chick has a crush on both of them.I'm thinking about posting them on Craigs list in the free section. They will be big roo's and Bubba is a banty.

Que Sera is happily running with her flock. The only time I can hold her is when I run her down. lol Then that gets the whole flock running like I'm going to murder them all. If it wasn't so muddy I would take a blanket out there and sit on the ground and hand out treats.

Where is Deb at today? I hope her pool is filled up and she is enjoying the water. Deb give us a quack if your out there.

LOL...Quack! I did the same last night...picked up both Pekins (one at a time, of course) and they all run like I'm a big, bad monster. Once I caught them, though, they were sweet. I'm glad Que Sera is doing well. I'm sure Turbo is proud of her!

Pool got to the fill line last night at 7:00. Then I turned on the pump and added chemicals. Tonight I'll test the water and I'm sure I'll have to add more stuff. I'll probably swim Friday no matter what...well, as long as the water stays clear. It's going to be sunny & hot (high 90's) all weekend.

I know it amazes me once you catch the duck it enjoys the petting and cooing. Maybe it's the thrill of the chase. lol

Glad your finally able to enjoy that pool almost. It will be worth the wait.

I put Jacky chick and Chick Norris on the free rehoming section. I hope someone wants them. I thought I would give it a try before I put them on craigs list. Keep your fingers crossed they get a good home.
