baby duck with lots of problems

I just held Uno. He feels like a stuffed animal his little feathers are so soft.. He is still peeping so I couldn't tell if he's a boy or girl. I'm saying he but I hope he is a she. He wasn't to happy with the pets and hugs and a few kisses. Once I catch Que Sera she settles down and enjoys being held but not Uno. He hasn't really been held enough for him to trust me.

Patti did Opie come in today? Has he started his exercise program yet?

I really don't think he needs to lose any weight he just needs to strengthen his wings some.

He has started his training Patty, not only swimming but taking his responsibility of leader of the Mafia very serious, we see him herding the 4 geese around I really think he wants to be a boarder collie .

I bet that was a sweet moment cuddling with Uno. Opie was in long enough for his kibble then we took out some for his girls.

Never heard of sap beetles can you get a pic? I feed mine fermented feed and there is some kind of bug [tiny ] in their feed every evening I have to hand pick out.

Those are probably sap beetles, there tiny and black and some have orange or brown spots. They like the taste of fermented stuff and rotting plants, the dig tunnels all through my ducks food so I cant hand pick them out. They're super annoying

here is Tangerine. Her diet consists mainly of premium gas and oil and a myriad of other viscous liquids. So as u all can see, I fit in here perfectly with my motorized horse and my finch ducks.
To funny Julie. I almost choked on my breakfast here.

This is way off topic of what everyone's been talking about, but has anyone else had a problem with sap beetles in duck food? I've noticed recently that they're all over and in my ducks food bowls and I'm going through so much food because the ducks don't like them and I have to dump the food out.
We don't have any around here. Knock on wood. I'm surprised the ducks don't eat them. Thats a shame food cost to much to throw out.

You're all quacking me up!

(well, except for the bugs in the duck food...ick!)

I do hereby request video so I can watch Que Sera Skype with Opie. I'll give ya $10! Patty, keep holding that little Uno baby and he/she will hopefully be another good cuddle buddy for you.

Julie, dear, LOVE your motorized horse almost as much as I LOVE your finch-ducks.
