Could be a dry or irritated throat, something stuck in the throat, beginning of a virus, I would add ACV to the night drinking water (1 tbsp per gallon of water) for a few nights and monitor,

Is it possible Alfalfa ate too fast? Dave eats too fast sometimes and coughs a little because it's dry food and he didn't mix it with water, hopefully all is well!

I am glad Alfalfa's doing better @Debs Flock . I've seen a duck do that before and I agree with GarnerZoo. I am sooo far from being duck savvy but when I was sitting my buddy's two ducks, Kensington went into this coughing spell and it freaked me out. She finally stopped. I told John about it and he said she does when she gulps down dry food too fast. Eesh. I thought she was going into cardiac arrest or something.

I asked Hubbie to feed the chickens and ducks this morning because I had to go somewhere. Everyone was fed and watered when I got home. I did ask him if they had their eggs. He said yes I busted up 4 eggs and threw them out on the mat. Oh boy that means the different groups didn't get their eggs and I'm sure the chickens ate all the eggs except for what Topper could scarf up.

We had to catch Uno and bind his wing it is hanging out sideways. He looks real cute with his purple vet wrap on. That is the only color I had. We did the voice test on him again and it was the low sound definately a boy. After the chase it maybe kind of hard to get his pic today with the sub group. We might have to wait until tomorrow. They are still hanging out togeather I hope they don't kick Uno out of the group because he has purple on his wing. I think it is angel wing I've never had one before with that. His little wing is sticking out from his body.

We had to rewrap the wing again the cross piece come undone. I hope this works. After we were done he went and hid under the rocking chair.
