Wolf Queen: He is actually my little bro. And I walked up onto the patio and saw him trying to sit on her. This is how the convorsation went:
Me: T'mas, what are you doing?
Thomas: I'm keeping Bacon warm sissy, this is what mommy chickens do to their babies, remember?
And I just started laughing. I'm not sure how we came upon the name Bacon. I name the birds by their personalities, and it took me 3 months to name her. It took me 4 months to name Sampson
As for disposition, they are as sweet as can be. I haven't handled the boy much, but when the kids hand out with the chickens, they fight (all 15+ kids in the neighborhood who come play with the chickens) about who gets to hold Bacon.
Thomas and his best friend are also "training" Bacon to fight Noodle, my Serama cock and big daddy of the flock. They don't like Noodle, but it's pretty funny to see them playing with GI Joes, then see Bacon riding the tank!
