bad neighbor

its been a long going ordeal, im missing sleep!

the city code suggest a bark collar.

had she been nicer, or even apologetic this morning, it would be a different discussion.

i was NICE to her, she was not nice in return.
she in fact, LIED and said it was another neighbors dog ( nottrue, i looked out my window and saw hers)

and when shesaid that, I said " i am sorry, i thought it was your dog"
and thats when she started in about the rooster.

Ever consider storm windows on your bedroom? I have seen many houses with two sets of windows and it does muffle noises considerably. I know you should not have to upgrade your house to live with your neighbors dog but if that dog quits barking other noises may bother you as well. I hear tractor trailers, the train, bass systems, and dogs all the time. I plan to install storm windows throughout the house. As a side benefit my utilities will go down.

to get your neighbor to conform to the law,, you have to,,,,,, you have to get rid of a pet, then make a complaint then prove its her dog barking,, for her to get you to conform to the law,, all she has to do is make a call...... and your mad at her...........

If the dog is outside barking at that time of the morning then I feel that you could complain, but I don't think it is wise to do so until you've re-homed the Roo.

we do have storm, windows, and there is about 40feet of 8' tall privacy fence there.

still hear it, and i sleep with a 20" box fan on high in my room too, still hear it.

I will re-home the roo, and then let the city handle it.
