Bad News. Just had a Biddy born with 2 beaks

Fascinating. Obviously the little squirt has all the equipment it needs in order to eat if it has a full crop and, most telling, poops.

It does appear to be more of an extra tongue than a third beak. If I may be so bold as to offer a prediction it is that this appendage will shrivel up and fall off over the next few weeks.

Vet? it's about 20 miles to nearest town. There's a caution light and a gas station there. No vet that I know of there. I'll have to check online for the nearest vet which would be an hour drive. I usually sew up any of my animals that tangle with the wild boars around here. But Speedy is different, there's nothing to sew up and he's doing fine other than just looking funny. I sure would like to have a vet look at him though. Any one know how much office visits cost for a bird these days?

a buddy took a turkey to the vet and $100+ ... but gave the bird a couple of shots of vitamins... bird had to be put down later when it's leg didn't get better.

That would be cool to get an X-ray. To be able to see just what is going on with the Lil Pipsqueak. If he turns out to be a rooster, could you image how scarey he'd look as a full grown rooster with a Horn looking appendage growing out of his throat.

If you locate a vet, discuss the fee up front. If you were in California where they have "boutique" vets, you can't walk out the door without being billed $200, and that wouldn't include an x-ray.

Here in Colorado, the vets see horses, cows, dogs and cats, and they laugh if you ask if they know anything about chickens. One did offer to euthanize a chicken for $5 should I ever require the service.
