Bad News. Just had a Biddy born with 2 beaks

If you locate a vet, discuss the fee up front. If you were in California where they have "boutique" vets, you can't walk out the door without being billed $200, and that wouldn't include an x-ray.

Here in Colorado, the vets see horses, cows, dogs and cats, and they laugh if you ask if they know anything about chickens. One did offer to euthanize a chicken for $5 should I ever require the service.
I can put them in the freezer a LOT cheaper than $5 a peice! Come to think of it, I have a friend's that is a vet about an hour away. Haven't seen him in a while. Maybe it's time to show up with a case of beer about 5 o'clock with Speedy in my shirt pocket. :thumbsup

Speedy 2 Beaks came up missing when I lost over 30 babies during the New Years Day Disappearance. I had over 30 come up missing, no signs of struggle, no blood, no feathers, no bodies. Wasn't sure what kind of critter could do that, but now I think it was a 2 legged critter. To protect my livestock, I'm gonna start shooting anything I see around here that doesn't belong.
Speedy was doing so well before he disappeared. :hit
