Banded Pigeon Found - Assistance Please

Thanks all. We had some really nasty weather the last day or so. I wanted just to get the bird inside and safe before dusk, so i only did a quick inspection for obvious injuries. I'll grab the band numbers later and look it up. For bedding, do pigeons roost? How should we set it up for overnight?
Bad weather may have contributed to this bird's predicament.

The pigeon is doing much better this morning. Lots of poops and all the food was gone. We gave him/her some more food/water this morning, and he/she's a glutton for the corn. He/she's pretty mellow--very easy to handle, but he/she makes no real effort to fly. He/she explored the bathroom a bit this morning while we were feeding him/her, and he/she looks strong. We've been able to get in touch with anyone from the club. The emails bounce back and the phone is just a fast busy signal. Any other ways to contact the club?

Great news! In the video he looked so weak. It is awesome how they bounce back.
About the contact I dk, it seems the IF website is 'under construction'.

I found this with the 2017 club officers contact info. Scroll down to third VP - Lost Bird Coordinator.

Thanks. I found the contact person for the club through the IF site, but his email bounced and his phone number does not work. I emailed the national coordinator last night. I have not heard anything back yet. It seems crazy in a hobby like this that you would not have good contact information available. I assume lost birds are somewhat common, right?

Sometimes the birds owner doesn't really want the bird back. You can tell if they do want the bird because they will arrange to have it picked up promptly. If I was told to just let it go after it recovers to fly home on its own I think I would assume the owner doesn't care. Do what you think is best.
Thanks so much for all your help. We're pretty serious about our birds around here, so I'm going to keep trying to contact someone this morning. Also, thanks for the advice on the 2x4 for roosting--based on where the poo was, it looks like he/she roosted there most of the night. :)
