Hats off to you guys! Is Pen thinking : Does this suit make my butt look wide?View attachment 1563004

This is Pen in his Avian Fashions 7.5 Custom Wide Flight Suit.
It's really hard to see them in their pigeon pants. They do not like them, and they are far less active than they were. :-( We're hoping this is just the transition period. They will both eat sunflower seeds from our hands now while wearing their suits, so that's an improvement. Still, we miss their previous antics and shenanigans. I'll get a picture of Pal's suit later. Pal is having a harder time than Pen.Hats off to you guys! Is Pen thinking : Does this suit make my butt look wide?![]()
We are powering through it and hoping things improve. They are still happy in their enclosure, happily eating our of our hands, and Pal is coo'ing in the mornings.Pal is hunched up...in shame? I'm so sorry for them too.I would give it a bit more time, but if they continued to be unhappy I would probably give up.

I can't think of anything except to watch him that he is eating and drinking and otherwise ok. Sometimes mine produce weird or runny poops for no reason I can discern.Pen is having diarrhea this morning, and we are supposed to leave town for a few days. Anything we should do or tell the house-sitter to do? Nothing has changed in terms of food (although the pigeons did just get a new bag of the same brand of pigeon food yesterday). He has access to fresh water changed 2x/day and sunflower seeds for treats. He won't be out of the flight cage again until Sunday afternoon.
