Ok I GET banning furriers and the products. However, Hollywood has gone outright nuts!!!! As of June 2012, in Hollywood, you are no longer able to purchase ANYTHING made from fur or WOOL. Wool?? Seriously??? No cashmere? No angora? Do they realize that they NEED to be harvested to be in good health?

You can drive by and get a coronary from the upset of how many people here have animals originally meant for wool, cashmere, etc - Yet the owners seem to think they're simply ornamental animals, made for collecting weeds in their thick ratty coats.

On topic though - That is indeed nuts.

Banning products is not about the well being of the animal but what makes the person doing it feel better about themselves, animals do not feel the sense of relief afforded them by the act.
