Barnvelder... doubtful and Deleware roo or hen?

Cockerels. My Barnie is 18 weeks old and still doesn't have a comb that big or red. Here's a shot of her at 14 weeks.

Barnie and the Delaware are both cockerels, pretty sure about it. So glad you rescued them from feed store prison! I have a Delaware cockerel around the same age and your guy looks really thin and ragged in comparison! I hope you can rehome instead of returning. Purebred roosters who haven't shown any signs of aggression are often easier to rehome.

ETA: looking back, I think only the Delaware of these two was a "rescue." Anyway - your compassion saved him!

This is a Barnevelder. The roos aren't supposed to have the lacing like the hens

So they are both roosters. Ok. Thanks. Already have a home for the Delaware, bless him. He has hidden under a tree all day and actually put himself into a cage that we had propped up outside. Breaks my heart. Thanks you all.
