Pink combs by 6 weeks, red by 8. Yours look to be pullets if they are 6 weeks.Are there any particular Australorp characteristics that help determine sex at this age?

Great, thanks!Both look like pullets and I still think primarily Australorp although I do see the slight barring here (and on retrospect in the one original picture as well). They may have a barring Gene but I'm still going Australorp pullet just not pure
Pullets. I mean it is still early but I'm not seeing a single roo signThese 2 buff orps are still so.....neutral.... I can't even tell them apart, let alone tell their sex! 5 weeks old
