I dont care if he ever produces a chick, but my concern is that with a bum leg, his two brothers, who will be the flock roosters with him, would challenge and hurt him.

Is the weather permitting Zane to have some out time today? I'm curious as to how he will do with getting around today.

He hasn't been out today, rain off and on. Icky pens. I hate this weather pattern. Makes germs multiply and smells bloom. I'll have to check on him. Been trying to get through this hatch that seems to never end.
Carrie, Dutch and Mace haven't been around Zane really, except that the pen Dutch is in is attached to the one we "hang" Zane in. He perches and watches big brother, but they haven't been together. And Mace is in a separate pen with his SLW sisters, Zane's daughter Panda, the GLW and blue cochin bany.
