off topic but I got 6 babies today and gave them to Nugget tonight after dark. It seemed to go well as she was clucking softly to them and puffed her wings out when I was putting them under her. Fingers crossed she does well with them!!
H1 should hatch under Fajita on Fri or Sat I am guessing. I did a quick peek today and saw veins and it was filling most of the egg so didn't see much besides veins. The air cell looked like it was getting much bigger and pulling back some. No internal pip yet (still early). I will keep an eye since I lost one last time because I didn't do a safety hold early enough and don't want that to happen again.
Still no shipping notification from the eggs! UGH! 1 I won on Monday so thought they should ship yesterday or today at the latest! This is some splash Cochin eggs and then some project egg she has that are EE/Cochin cross that look like Cochin with puffy cheeks and lay green eggs!!!!
The other one ended today (12 BBS cochin eggs) but she has to adjust the price since that is the one that already sent me the eggs (S1-18) that didn't develop so she is giving them to me for 1/2 off but she never invoiced me today. UGH! Before it ended she said she would be able to ship them today........ well with no invoice I couldn't pay so ofc they weren't shipped.
There is a chance if they are both shipped tomorrow they will come on Sat (last time they took 2 days to get to me from the other seller) and the one with the 2 types of eggs are closer but if not I hope they wait and ship on Mon so they don't sit at the PO over the weekend!
