Sounds like you have my flock
Elvis has already 'taken on for the team". He was attacked by a hawk. He was nursed back to health, no small task having a rooster on your home for 3 weeks! He is fine now but is blind in his right eye. Doesn't seem to be to bad off.
Go Elvis! I'm so glad you were able to nurse him back to health. That took a lot of effort to keep a rooster in the house for 3 weeks!
I like that name. Some day I'll have an Elvis in my flock but he will have to earn the name. Maybe he will have a slick black hair-do or a shaky leg or maybe he will be able to crow more beautifully than the other roosters. When I get new chicks in the spring I'll be watching for Elvis to step forward and name himself.
