I would only let them outside if they can be out there with out being eaten by a predator or wander away. A closed wall of fencing or some type of fencing would help keep them safe . They do need fresh air and sunlight to be healthy to. You don’t want to put them in direct sun light where they can’t get out of it but you know just naturally letting them wander around doing what ducks and chickens like to do. I bet your chick would love a good dust bath.and bugs oh my gosh they will eat up bugs.

So thats good.as you might know, here is so hot.and there are a few cats around here and they may get hurt.so every day i get them out under sun 2 hours but i know thats not enough.so when the weather go a little cool , i will get them out much.
Do they like mosquitoes?

Thank you, and thank you for the warning, I didn't realise about the more pesticides, I will make sure to wash it well.
OK... This is the pic I got of the niacin being used...

That balding is either parasites or lack of protein or maybe both... feathers are made from 90% protein and it's amino acids. What I gathered from your feed routine is probably plenty of fat and carbs but VERY low in protein. Give them some meat, off of all the chicken and fish skin you are feeding out.

The chicken doesn't seem to be as bad off. Posting the pic for others to give helpful input if they spot anything. :fl

Thank you ^^
I got some Sucked Wheat germ from supermarket.
Does it ok for them?
And does the oiled or fried meat good for them?

I wouldn't go out of my way to oil it or fry... though maybe cooking is appropriate, I'm nit sure about certain raw foods as I have not studied that area at all yet.

Wheat germ should have a bit more protein in it, than some other things.
I try to add some meat on their food.
But is it wheat germ generaly good or find something better?

Where I live, the wheat germ I know of at the grocery store is very expensive to use as a feed for ducks. They eat a lot! But maybe yours is something different? The following link look like wheatgerm might be kinda nutritious with 30% of it's energy (also known as calories) coming from protein and quit a few vitamins and minerals. The daily value is irrelevant since it is based on human needs, but could at least give an idea of what we are starting with...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cereal_germ

I like to sprout barley seeds, peas, wheat and such. Sometimes grow it into fodder since it only takes 3 days for sprouting and 7 for fodder and it increases the available nutrients in those feeds. But I buy them at the same place I buy my feed. This is I buy them in 50# bags. I don't know if you can find that or not.

Hopefully you will get some more answers about the niacin, the different types and if they work or not is an area I lack knowledge in.
