So I recently started adding supplements to the chickens waterer. And prices locally are high, just found this source online which is a very good price. It's a complete vitamin/mineral concentrate. Also for you duck lovers, there is plenty of Niacin for your fast growing ducklings.

Only bummer is shipping, but if you can find a few friends to split an order then that should be no issue.

The original product you posted is 4 ounces and makes over 100 gallons. The one I posted is 8 ounces, and is half salt, and makes about the same gallons. So it would make sense that they are both probably about the same, just one has a bunch of salt along with the vitamins.

I don't know the dosing amount for the Rooster Booster, but I bet it would be about the same since it is 8 ounces.

Yeah after checking out the rooster booster it's just way to much salt.

The first on I linked is just vitamins/minerals which is all I want. Not interested in loading up my birds on salt. Would also like whatever vitamin pack I settle on to have enough Niacin for ducklings.

Has anyone ever tried making their own blend i wonder?

I like the concept, and I am sure their are people on the forum that could probably do that, but I am not yet one of them.

I am thinking you would probably be spending dollars to save dimes if your doing it for a small flock. To save money making it yourself, you would probably need to be running a very large flock.
