Biden - Palin Debate, Anyone watch it?

I think we have a poor choise of who is going to run this country and I can't help but think is this the best we can do!!

I have a feeling the " Powers that Be" have already decided who will be our next prez. I think it's all theatrics anyway.

Seemed that way 8 years ago anyway. Will we have any hanging chads?

Where does all this vehement hatred of Sarah come from? She is the only canidate in the last 100 years or more that is not a lifelong member of the established political machine. As to her experience, believe me it does not take forever to learn to do a job, as I have proven to myself many times. We should hope that her or a person like her becomes President in the near future. It may be the only salvation for this country. As to Barack Hussein Obama. I had a discussion about this very person 30 years ago. I just didn't think he would appear this soon.

There has been a lot of misinformation floating around, seemingly based on predjudice, hatred, ignorance or a deliberate attempt at fear-mongering.

At best, I would hope it is simple ignorance. I suspect that some hear certain talk-show hosts spewing this stuff and simply accept it as the truth.

It amazes me how someone can look at McCain and Obama, side by side, look at their
records, look at their contributions to our country, listen to each of them, and come up
with the conclusion Obama is the better man to lead the free world.

Now compare Palin and Biden. Both are impressive. One is a Washington insider who
has helped create the many problems we have in D.C. today. The other is someone
who has quickly risen and has made many positive changes in her state. She is also
so loved by many Alaskans that they don't want to lose her. Teddy Roosevelt was only
a governor for two years before heading to Washington.

I won't be putting a McCain Palin sticker on my truck because I don't want it keyed. I
like my paint the way it is. Obama supporters don't need to worry about that.
Draw your own conclusions.

Now everyone shut up and turn on CSPAN and watch our pothetic congress debate
our government truly in action, or maybe inaction.

Yes I watched it and was not impressed. They are smooth "silent" tap dancers though. They just tap danced right around true answers...but they made ya think they gave an answer.

No matter what the outcome of this election...we better hang on tight because it is going to be a bumpy ride. We are going to be in trouble no matter which one of them gets into office. Sad 4 years coming.

Hey PC as to watching CSPAN and Congress in action...you mean to tell me they are actually awake in there today? Come now...surely you jest. Check again.

And that bumper sticker theory...depends on where in the country you are. Here... Obama signs were torn down and Hiliary stickers were a guaranteed key job. LOL But it changes like the wind too.

When I was four years old, my dad, froze to death while suffering from pneumonia and dysentary. He was in a POW camp in Korea. That was in 1951.
The veterans of Vietmans Pow camps have stated definately that McCain was given special treatment in that camp for his services to them.
This ends that debate for me. I would never never consider a man who would give up his country and its soldiers for personal comfort. Not on my last breath.

And do I beleive these soldiers, ex pow's from Vietnam? Why shouldnt I? yes I believe them.
Hes no hero in my eyes.

I am a registered Democrat. And I must say that I absolutely love Sarah Palin. I knew that I would probably vote for McCain, but I wasn't too excited about it. When he picked Palin I thought about time. Bad thing is that she has to pull his tail out of the fire all the time. He needs to start hitting back a little harder and being clearer about some of the issues.
Why don't I like Barack Obama? I find him to be easy on the eyes and charming. What I don't like is that it's all about him. As long as he is in the limelight and it is positive, he is at his best. If he becomes President it isn't going to be all about him and I think he will less confident.
I think experience is good, but that staying in Washington makes people complacent and greedy. They no longer live in the real world with the rest of us and our problems. Do they even shop at any of the discount chains? It's easy to see what is going on when the person in front of you uses 5 different cards to pay for food. (not sure which one isn't maxed out) I see this a lot.
I'm tired of politics as usual and would love to see both sides try to work together. We are first and foremost Americans and we need to stick together. Healthy debate is good, but it has gone beyond that.
IMHO

Can't argue with you on that. I've said since the Pres candidates were decided I wanted a bumper sticker that said "SOMEONE ELSE FOR PRESIDENT".
As far as Governor Palin is concerned I think she's the best of the 4.

leslie you may be the only one who thinks mccain turned his back on his country. Whether you like him or not both sides agree he is a true patriot of this country. Facts are facts and you dont have limbs broken, jaw broken, beaten, tortured and be considered to be living comfortable.
