UPDATE: i have sold all but 1 Bielefelder roo, he is still available, make offer, i will also have eggs available soon of Bielefelders and Cream Legbars, taking preorders now. All are from correct nice lines.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays. I realize this thread is 4 months old, but I have some ?s

Where are you located in NC? Have you hatched eggs yet from the CLBs and the Bielefelders? Which CLB lines do you have - Production or Jill Rees? Which color variety(cream, gold creole, white)?

In you first post you state "2 Bielefelder roos 5 months old from the proper 2011 line" and in the 2nd post you state "All are from correct nice lines." I'm curious what you mean by these two statements.

****** CLBs
I'd gotten my first several production line Cream Legbars in Feb/March of 2018 - didn't get them from GFF (original importers), but from a breeder who got stock from GFF.

In May, I got some of the Jill Rees line from a different breeder, who again, had gotten their original breeding stock from GFF. I don't know if these are from the 2013 or 2016 import lines and I am confused by the coloring of the pullets - think MIGHT be gold creole, not actually the cream.

I would be interested in some chicks that aren't directly related to mine. I'd like to put a 3rd breeding group together whose offspring can be crossed w/ offspring of my other 2 production line groups ( I have a quad and a trio) and I'm looking to add two breeding groups to my current quad of the JR line.

Some pics of our group(s) - the purple group is a trio - just missing a pic of the roo and the salmon group is a quad - missing pics of 2 pullets.

Yes, our JR line of birds below are very muddy. They were moved from a nasty coop/pen to a new coop/pen on the day these pics were taken. I don't have any good individual pics since then, yet. I don't have a good pic of the roo, either.

I believe my production line birds are all of the Cream variety. My roos from the JR lines are also Cream variety. But I'm thinking the girls from our JR line may be the Gold Creole pattern. I will have to check on that... I would really like to have cream varieties, not the creole or white(at this time).

********** Bielefelders

I got my Bielefelders from a different, local breeder. I don't believe she got her stock directly from GFF, but don't know for sure. I ended up getting 3 hatching ages - mixed together as she had them all in the same brooders & pens when I purchased the first group - hatched between 5-12 March 2018.

I originally made 3 quads from them - gifted 1 quad to a friend. Then lost 2 pullets from the 1 quad and the cockerel from the other quad on 11 December 2018... I had purchased another quad, much younger ages, lost 1 pullet. So was able to combine them back into two quads coming into 2019. 2 pullets from the 1 quad are laying and the 3 now in the 2nd quad aren't laying yet at all.

I am looking to make a 3rd quad up to use for breeding my own lines.

some pics of our birds - 2nd pic - "Rhodi" is a Rhodebar roo, he'll be moving out to our pasture coop with our laying hens tonight. The third group of B's (as I call them) where hatched 6/16/18 so they are 3 months younger than the original groups.
