Poor baby! Kudos for you for taking her to the vet. That is definitely a severe case of bumblefoot! Keep us posted with her progress......

Hi! I’m not sure it might not be available in the UK. The vet has treated bumblefoot before and seemed pretty confident that the antibiotics would work. We are continuing to bathe her and the scab is starting to soften so we may be able to peel it off and remove the plug. No foot pics I’m afraid we were in a bit of a rush this morning and afternoon but have a picture of Eliza enjoying her bath! I think she’s starting to enjoy it! Her antibiotics are easy to administer and she doesn’t seem in as much pain as she was so something might be working!I’d have to try and get that scab off but I understand if others don’t feel comfortable trying but I think the only way that will heal is with antibiotics and removing the plug. It can take a week or more of soaking before the scab will peel up . Can you get clear iodine or DMSO? In the UK?
