Biscuits or Cornbread?

Sweet cornbread!!

Although you need biscuits for egg and sausage biscuits and sausage, biscuits, and gravy.

Cornbread with beans or chocolate pudding
Yeast bread with everything else.

We like cornbread with beans, Chili and DH makes me make him some for Beef roasts and broth.

Biscuits (we call them Catheads here) Breaksfast with gravy. Biscuits with Creamed Chicken or Turkey!!!!

Grits: only with butter, salt, and pepper.....and maybe...red-eye gravy.

I put "whole-kernel" corn and some "hot" green chile in my cornbread.....sometimes.
(I'm a WESTERN "Rebel".)

sugar.....can ya believe it ??? (How'd them people WIN thet-thar WAR?....Diabetes shoulda got 'em!)
